Hello, I’m Ro. I’m a trainee Transactional Analysis psychotherapist working with individuals and couples in private practice. I offer a warm, thoughtful and confidential therapeutic space where you can explore what is bringing you to therapy, begin to make sense of your feelings and patterns and develop more choice in how you relate to yourself and others.

My approach is relational, compassionate and non-judgemental. I am particularly experienced in working with people in non-monogamous, polyamorous and relationship anarchist relationships, as well as LGBTQ+, gender-diverse and neurodivergent clients - people who may have struggled to find practitioners who understand less conventional lives and relationships.

Transactional Analysis psychotherapy is the foundation of my work. In our sessions this means we pay attention to the different parts of you, the patterns and beliefs you may have developed early in life, and how these can shape your relationships, choices and sense of self in the present. Therapy can offer a place to bring these patterns into awareness, understand them with care rather than judgement, and gradually find new ways of responding.

Alongside my psychotherapy training, I also have a background in coaching. This means I can work in a way that is reflective and depth-oriented, while also helping you think clearly about creating change in your life. The work is not about giving quick advice or telling you what to do, but about supporting you to understand yourself more fully and move with greater integrity, autonomy and compassion.

I work online via Zoom with clients in the UK and internationally, and I also offer in-person therapy from a cosy room in a peaceful garden setting in Uxbridge, West London. The space is quiet and welcoming, with good public transport links and private parking. You may also be greeted by Gremlin, a friendly little black cat with a curly tail, so the room may not be suitable for anyone with severe cat allergies.

Please feel free to contact me if you would like to arrange an initial session or ask any questions about working together.
