My name is Kei ("kay") and I am a qualified and registered Gestalt counsellor with Japanese-English heritage. I work with individual adult clients out of my private practice in Fulham where I hold both in-person and online sessions.
My aim is to provide a space where you can explore all aspects of your identity and give voice to what you are experiencing with a focus on being inclusive, collaborative and trauma-informed. I believe that my role is to support you in developing a deeper awareness of yourself, how you relate to others, navigate situations, and respond to life’s challenges. As self-exploration can bring up unexpected feelings, I’m here to support you in that process.
I take a person-centred and holistic approach that builds upon my training as a Gestalt therapist while also incorporating techniques from other modalities such as Internal Family Systems and Transactional Analysis.
Alongside my private practice I work in elderly care and provide volunteer counselling through a low-cost mental health service in South London. Please contact me for more information or to book in for an initial session.
