I am a Cambridge-educated, fully qualified psychotherapist with extensive clinical experience supporting individuals through both immediate challenges and deeper personal exploration. I hold a Master’s degree in Gestalt Psychotherapy from Middlesex University and the Metanoia Institute in London.
My therapeutic style is grounded in authenticity. I believe that meaningful change grows from a genuine, human connection, and I bring my real responses into the room with care and professionalism. Clients often tell me they value the combination of psychological insight, grounded presence and the clarity I offer.
I see clients who are over 18 in 1-1 sessions and work with a broad range of people — from those navigating major life transitions or crises, to high-performing professionals seeking greater self-understanding, balance, and fulfilment. Some come with a focused issue they’d like to work through; others are drawn to a deeper process of growth, self-discovery, and long-lasting change.
My background in education and my experience working with children inform my approach with adults. I pay careful attention to the “younger selves” we all carry — the parts shaped by earlier environments and expectations — and help clients integrate these parts so they can move forward with greater coherence and confidence.
At the heart of my work is an invitation to slow down, inquire, and listen inwardly. Gestalt therapy recognises that the body holds a wealth of knowledge, and that long-standing patterns often soften when we attend to the whole of our experience, not just our thoughts. By understanding how your past has shaped your present, you can begin to reclaim forgotten strengths, shift entrenched patterns, and make choices that feel more aligned and intentional.
I support clients with both immediate concerns and long-term themes, including anxiety, low mood, loss, relationship difficulties, trauma, and the pressures associated with demanding professional lives. Whether you are in crisis or seeking greater self-awareness, I work collaboratively, respectfully, and at a pace that suits you — offering structure, emotional steadiness, and a space where you can think, feel, and reflect more freely.
I also offer regular Supervision to qualified practitioners. My Supervision approach integrates a Gestalt perspective with the 7-Eyed Model – taking a view of the dynamics between Supervisee, Client, and Supervisor in the round. I’m in regular Supervision myself, and have benefitted tremendously from this practice, so am passionate about the positive benefits of effective Supervision. I place the relationship between Supervisee and Supervisor as central to my approach, and am always keen to ensure my Supervisees feel as supported as possible in their work.
I am experienced in working remotely, by video call or telephone. I am supported by my own regular Supervision and abide by the UKCP ethical framework and code of practice.
