Claudia Goulder is a Child and Adolescent Psychotherapist trained at the Tavistock & Portman Clinic and a full member of the Association of Child Psychotherapists.

Claudia currently sees nursery and primary aged children, adolescents and young adults (up to 25). She offers short and longer-term work, highly specialised assessments of complex developmental problems and brief work. She also offers consultations with parents looking for help in managing their child’s needs and couples looking to start a family. 

Claudia has 20 years’ professional experience in a variety of clinical settings. She has worked in inpatient and outpatient mental health services within the NHS as well as family and specialist services. 

After training in CAMHS she worked as a parent-infant therapist within the Perinatal Mental Health Team at Chelsea & Westminster hospital, helping parents deal with such issues as loss, trauma, depression and acute anxiety.

Alongside her private practice, she leads reflective groups for headteachers and helped set up a charity providing education and support to new and expectant parents. She teaches and supervises in the field.
